March 2018

We are very thankful and blessed to have had Rev Alex Stewart with us for the Communion weekend preaching the Gospel in such a heart-felt and genuine manner. His passion came through in his preaching and we can only pray the Lord’s blessing will continue with him in Maryburgh & Killearnan.

We are also thankful to have had one new member added to the Church and we pray that she and the Church will have been strengthened and encouraged that the Lord continues to save lives unto Christ.

A congregational fellowship was held in the Church hall after the evening service where a large number gathered to enjoy fellowship together as well as a most impressive spread displayed by ‘Team 1’. Rev Stewart told his testimony and brought everyone to think upon the solemnity of God’s sovereignty in our lives and encouraged all to call upon His name while He may be found.

“Behold, how good and pleasant it is
when brothers dwell in unity!
It is like the precious oil on the head,
running down on the beard,
on the beard of Aaron,
running down on the collar of his robes!
It is like the dew of Hermon,
which falls on the mountains of Zion!
For there the Lord has commanded the blessing,
life forevermore.” Psalm 133.
